BCC Web CT
WebCT is one of the world's leading providers of e-learning solutions to the global higher education market. Broome Community College licenses this software and maintains and manages WebCT courses on our campus. Students access their courses through http://bcctoday.sunybroome.edu.
In addition to our online courses, we use WebCT for web-enhanced courses as well as tutoring support. Our WebCT courses are solely supported by Broome Community College and not the SLN HelpDesk.
WebCT course have a K designator, such as PTA203K01. Video-Based courses have a Z designator, such as HIS170Z01. If the course has an online component, it is offered through WebCT.

How do I get a password?
The first time that you logon to http://bcctoday.sunybroome.edu/, you must follow the directions for "First time users click here for password setup" in order to obtain your user name and password. Follow the directions on each screen. BCC Today lets you access all of BCC's online content with a single logon, except for SLN courses.
How do I logon to a BCC campus computer?
If you are accessing your course from campus, you must first logon to the campus network. Your username and password will be the same as those that you use for BCC Today. If you have not yet set up a password for BCC Today (following the instructions above), then your password will be your 6 digit birthdate. After logging on to the computer, follow the directions above.
How do I access my course?
- Go to http://webcttoday.sunybroome.edu and log in using the user name and password given to you at registration.
- Click on the MyCourses tab and select your course. When you click on a link for a WebCT course, it will take you directly to the course. Courses will not be listed until the start of the semester, at the time your instructor adds you to the course. If you don't see the course listed during the first week of classes contact the instructor.
