Academic Advising at BCC assists students in planning for and meeting their academic goals through orientation for new students, providing clarification of degree and SUNY General Education requirements, assisting with academic planning, and making referrals to campus resources.
Advising strives to help students understand their roles and responsibilities in the advising process and aids students in selecting courses appropriate for their degree, transfer, and career goals through both individual and group sessions. |
