Welcome
to BCC's EMT/Paramedic web pages. Here you will find information
that will help you learn about our program, philosophies, goals,
and requirements for potential students.
Paramedic care is the highest level of pre-hospital care provided
to patients in emergency situations. Our program prepares you
to administer that care in eventual job settings, such as fire
department ambulance services.
This
National Curriculum program requires hospital clinical hours and
a field internship. BCC's program is offered in affiliation with Lourdes
Hospital and UHS.
The program includes 336 hours, 233 lab hours, 251 clinical hours,
260 internship hours, and 120 internship evaluation hours. Students
earn a minimum of 36 college credit hours through BCC. |
