The students
in the Health Information Technology Program are members of our
HIT Club. The club primarily is a social club, which promotes
interaction between the Senior and Freshmen students.
The Seniors
host the "Freshmen Welcome" early in the Fall Semester,
and the Freshmen host the "Senior Farewell" before graduation.
During Health
Information Technology week the club promotes our profession by
designing a new bulletin board display and organizing activities
to promote an awareness of Health Information Management. Each
year the club decides on a community service project to aid those
in our community.
