| Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides |
|
Home health aides help elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons
live in their own homes instead of in a health facility. Most work
with elderly or disabled clients who need more extensive care than
family or friends can provide.

| Medical Assistant |
|
Medical assistants perform routine administrative and clinical
tasks to keep medical offices and clinics running smoothly. Medical
Assistant perform both administrative and clinical duties that include
taking medical histories and recording vital signs, explaining treatment
procedures to patients, preparing patients for examination, and
assisting the physician during the examination.

| Medical Laboratory Technology |
|
Medical Laboratory Technicians examine and analyze body fluids,
tissues, and cells. They look for bacteria, parasites, and other
microorganisms; analyze the chemical content of fluids; match blood
for transfusions; and test for drug levels in the blood to show
how a patient is responding to treatment.

|
Medical transcriptionists listen to dictated recordings made by
physicians and other healthcare professionals and transcribe them
into medical reports, correspondence, and other administrative material.

| Nursing |
|
Registered nurses (RNs) work to promote health, prevent disease,
and help patients cope with illness. When providing direct patient
care, they observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and
progress; assist physicians during treatments and examinations;
administer medications; and assist in convalescence and rehabilitation.

| Physical Therapist Assistant |
|
Physical therapist assistants under the supervision of a physical
therapist to assist in providing services that help improve mobility,
relieve pain of patients suffering from injuries or disease.
