Technicians
may work with sophisticated laboratory equipment to grow and identify
microbes, assess the immune response of patients or match blood
for transfusion therapy.
MLTs
combine their love of science and medicine with the rewards of
a challenging interesting career. Program graduates have opportunities
to prepare for transfer to upper division programs in Clinical
Laboratory Science, Cytotechnology, and other science curricula,
and may continue their educations to the graduate or professional
levels.
