All students have the benefit of a career advisor knowledgeable in the degree requirements, who will help the student select the appropriate courses. This pre-registration is done in the middle of each semester for continuing students on a seniority basis. The ACCESS Center serves students who are undecided regarding their career goal.

All students at Broome Community College have access to academic assistance through the Learning Assistance Center. Group and individual tutoring may be arranged, help with writing assignments through the Writing Center, Math Lab, Learning Disabilities Student Support Services.
