Prior to that I spent several years as a Master Teacher in the Child and Family Laboratory at the University of Texas at Austin. I taught all ages from 9 months to 5 years but specialized in infants and toddlers. As a Master Teacher I devoted much of my time mentoring undergraduates whose goal it was work with young children.

Philosophy Statement: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." I believe that caregivers, teachers and policy makers need to take advantage of their potential to have a positive influence on our society through the children and families they serve. Everyone benefits when we invest in our children.
