These slide presentations were created by students in MET127, Manufacturing Processes II, at Universal Instruments, for one of the projects that were assigned to groups in the class. I felt that they were interesting enough to be of general use to others, perhaps those taking the Materials Science course.
If you use Internet Explorer, the opening of the PowerPoint slides should be automatic (when you click on one of the links below). If you use Netscape, a dialog box will appear, claiming that the application is unrecognized. Choose "Save File" and save it to your desktop. Then click on it from there and the presentation will open properly. Of course, you cannot view these slides unless you have Microsoft Office (in particular, PowerPoint) loaded. However, Corel's Presentations may successfully convert the slides. Try it if necessary!
