CST 106          3 Credits          B+       3 x 3.3  = 9.9 Quality Points

 

ENG 110         3 Credits          C         3 x 2 = 6 Quality Points

 

MAT 181         4 Credits          A-        4 x 3.7  = 14.8 Quality Points

 

SPK 100          3 Credits          B-        3 x 2.7 = 8.1 Quality Points

 

There are 13 credits and 38.8 Quality Points.

 

Your GPA is 38.7 / 13 =  2.9846

 

Part 2 – Calculating a Letter Grade in CST 106

 

Consulting the Syllabus for the course:

Evaluation:

1.     Three exams (40%)

2.     Homework and Quizzes (30 %)

3.     Projects ( 30 %)

 

The average of projects must be 70% or higher to pass the course. You must take all exams and submit all homework and projects to receive a grade.

 

Letter grades will be assigned as follows:

 

A:  93 to 100                B:  83 up to 87                  C: 73 up to 77

A-: 90 up to 93             B-: 80 up to 83                  C-: 70 up to 73

B+: 87 up to 90            C+: 77 up to 80                 D: 60 up to 70
