JavaScript Applications – the Heart of a WebPage
Part 1:
JavaScript takes many forms. JavaJoe.exe is a self exploding zip file containing nine lessons to be dragged into both Notepad and a Browser. I would suggest you first create a folder on your desktop to save JavaJoe.exe into. When you expand it, quite a few files are created. After expanding, start by dragging EX1.htm into your Browser. You’ll find that this is an interesting and easy exercise. If you also drag each file into Notepad, you’ll easily see the source code.
Part 2:
This final assignment sends you out on the Web to find one or more JavaScript applications. Bring up Notepad, and paste the application in. Save your new file with a .htm extension ( be sure to select ‘All Files’).
Example, save as MyPage.htm
