Registering for an Online Course or Program

There are different ways to register for online classes depending on your situation. Please read the section that applies to you.

I am not currently pursuing a degree at BCC
If you are not currently pursuing a degree from Broome Community College, you are considered to be a non-matriculated student. Non-matriculated students do not require approval from a Broome Community College advisor to enroll in an online course. However, you still have to register here (online course registration form). If you are matriculated at another institution and wish to apply the course toward your degree at that institution, you should obtain approval from that institution to enroll in Broome Community College's online courses.

After your registration is received, Broome Community College will contact you for payment. See Tuition & Fees for more information on costs.

I am a new or re-admitted student seeking a degree at BCC
If you are a new or readmitted student seeking a degree at Broome Community College, you must matriculate into a program of study. In order to matriculate, you must complete an application for admission and be accepted to the BCC. See the Admissions Office webpage for more information. Once you are admitted to the college, you should have approval from your advisor to enroll in an online course.

Matriculated student persuring a degree at BCC
If you are a continuing matriculated student at Broome Community College, you should obtain approval from your academic advisor to enroll in an SLN course. Strictly online students should contact Laura St. George at 607-778-5421, or email stgeorge_l@sunybroome.edu.
