Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer and/or CNC Programmer with a degree in Engineering or other technical degree. Will be responsible for all areas of manufacturing with special concentration on computer aided manufacturing; mid to long range process and methods improvements; daily production issues; shop floor support; systems programming; supporting the production schedule. You MUST HAVE experience producing and maintaining computer programs for systems control and automated programs used by CNC programmers. Computer experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Access. Working Knowledge in Pro-Engineer/Pro-Manufacturing, Esprit CAM, Solidworks, FabriWIN or equivalent


We are presently seeking a CNC Programmer/Manufacturing Engineer to contribute high-quality performance to our expanding business.

Job Description:

•Develop methods, fixtures, and CNC programs to support machining and assembly operations.
•Perform time and motion analysis to maintain accurate cost and efficiency standards.
•Work closely with Design Engineering in support of new and existing products.
•Recommend and implement methodologies to improve quality, efficiency, and lower costs.
•Perform cost estimating in support of sales requests as necessary.
•Communicate Beck quality requirements and provide technical assistance to outside subcontractors.
•Participate in supplier evaluations and audits.
•Participate in capital equipment justification, purchase, and implementation.
•Provide project support to other functions as requested.

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing the manufacturing processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties.

· Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.

· Examine space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficient production methods.

· Consult with manufacturing and quality staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.

· Deliberate with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.

· Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.

· Operate CAD system to design and develop process drawings and fixture drawings for use in the manufacture of product.

· Change and distribute controlled documents as directed.
